Feedback received

Five years to this feedback. It is not the pay, hike, bonus or promotions that keeps one craving for more at work. It is the feeling of utmost ‘safety’ and encouraging environment that allows us all to work happily and together. Make your team feel better today and everyday cause you are so much better than the problematic politics and biases around you. Work is more than language bias and working together without biases is fun. Life goes on without job/career but integrity, making connections and memories that last for forever, this adds meaning to life and living. Else it simply means I am also employed.

Hi Jyothi,

This is my honest and sincere feedback. Since it was in a hurry, may be I could have missed some too J

 It was great working with you, first and foremost. When I first met you, I thought you to be of my age and had a feeling that we are in same page and plane. However our conversation and discussion during the initial days of PitchIT made me feel the level of maturity you have got in testing. I learnt many things from you – to think in a different perspective. I myself do a exhaustive and exclusive testing on any module which I test, the very first discussion we had is about a simple registration page where we together saw like we can break boundaries of testing and there is an ocean to test in a simple module. You made me think in those aspects which I have not even thought of. That was an eye opener to me.

 The next thing I learnt was analysis. Given any situation and problem how well we can analyse and break into and arrive at best possible solution. This I have learnt from seeing you making decisions on many occasions.

 The other thing is how well you carry yourself and present any workshop or session, even if it is a simple known topic, you made me understand how to make the audience listen intently and interestingly.

How to make others motivated, encouraged and engaged is what you showed me during this span of time. Hope I do the same now.

 There are many a things when I have looked forward to you, where I was not able to help others and I have redirected them to you. And I have seen some concluding factor for their problems, be it personal or professional.

I could see that you lend your ears for employee problems whenever they come forward to you and lend your help wherever it is needed.

Throughout my career journey, I have attended one to one meetings in which I saw that they were more interested to point my performance alone, but for the first time, during my one to one meeting and goal setting, you asked me to have a career path which will be best suitable for me and that’s how I told I want to be a technical tester.

Problem solving workshop was a very good one which you conducted. The testing exercise were kind of relaxation to me.

You showed the junior testers how the world and community of testing is, you made few of them get the exposure of the same.

I have myself told you several times, that I consider you as my role model or mentor in testing.  You have shown me the extent of Women empowerment. Personally, above all you are a good friend than a manager.

 

Apart from this the list may go on, I have penned down all my thoughts which came pouring in.
